My Ten Things!!!! well sorta ....

My 10 things!!! first of all, how can you pick just 10... that means i have to group all these wonderful things together... so here we are:

1) God: first and foremost, without him i could not enjoy everything else
2) family: for all the ways they hold me up, and show me how much i'm loved
3) friends: too many to count, and all the happier for it... from the one who knows my deepest, darkest secrets... to the ones who cry on my shoulder... you're to good to be true
4) my pets: yes they are annoying, yes they are needy, but i love them so much it's not funny
5) church: this wacky, crazy, extremely raw place of worship...
6) dreams: even though sometimes they are scary , and scary!!! lol... God uses them to show me insight into parts of my life, i couldn't otherwise understand
7) cooking: my first real talent, and passion...
8) poetry: the God-given ability to reflect my heart on paper
9) the tears that run down my fathers' face when he reads one of my poems for him
10) to the many things that got bumped in this list : to a baby's smile, to a crush, to the feeling of a newborn asleep in your arms, to the ability to help, to completion, to the goose bumps you get when hear something that has to be from God, to the pain in my stomach after i've laughed way too hard, to the inside joke, and to the people who remind me every day that i live a blessing... shannon

A business man got on an elevator. When he entered, there was a
blonde already inside who greeted him with a bright,"T-G-I-F."
He smiled at her and replied,"S-H-I-T."
She looked puzzled, and repeated,"T-G-I-F," more slowly.
He again answered,"S-H-I-T."
The blonde was trying to keep it friendly, so, she smiled her
biggest smile and said as sweetly as possibly, "T-G-I-F."
The man smiled back to her and once again, "S-H-I-T."
The exasperated blonde finally decided to explain,"'T-G-I-F'
means Thank Goodness It's Friday.' Get it, duuhhh?"
The man answered, "'S-H-I-T' means Sorry, Honey, It's Thursday."

MARKS!!!

well i guess my ranting worked...lol... i got my marks today... i got 84% on my final... and 81% overall for the whole unit.... yay... i can't believe i did that good.... yay..... thanks for all the prayers!!!!

so mad!!!

my teacher said that i would have my marks by monday... it's tuesday... no MARKS!!!!! ... i even emailed her.... still no marks... it's so annoying.... we have so much stuff to stress about... it takes probably 1 minute to find my marks and compile an email... is that so hard... aaauuuuggghhhh

retreat!!!!

what an awesome weekend.... i'm so glad i went... what a spiritual trip... that was great... i got to get closer to those i knew, learn to love those i didn't, and have a wholly uplifting weekend...love shannon

yay.. it's finally over...

wahoo... just took my terminology final, and i think i did really good... so we will wait till monday to know,but i'm not worried... as for my computer final, i got 92%( huhuh) sweet!!! so cool... so i guees i'll see you girls tonight....
