Some things you may not know...

- i've always wanted straight hair,
except for when i get dressed up... then i want curls
- my favorite teacher of all time was Mrs. Armstrong... i had her for four years( 8-11), but by then i had too many credits... so i had to take something else for gr. 12... so i took two cafeteria courses...
- my pride makes me laugh when you tease me, but i'm hurting inside
- i have a softness for orange cats and blue eyes
- the first time i saw my dad cry was at Duke Harris' funeral... the second was when he read the first poem i gave to him
- i have a hard time sharing my heart, so i write poetry
- since i've shared in so much loss, i've kinda become desensitized to sappy movies... but i cry every time at the end of "Mr. Hollands' Opus"
- i've always wanted to travel to Greece, and play hide and seek in the hidden rooms in a castle
- i'm very scared of failing
- i love my eyes
- i love to sing, i love music, and i love dancing... all of which happen at street church, which i love
- i want to work eventually with wildlife, i love nature
- i write many personal poems, but i only share them with my family
- i hate disorganization, and feel compelled to clean it
- i'm a lot like my mother, but i'm daddy's little girl
- my worst nickname is shmanminderdeep, followed closely by shannon hasapeenapepalon... both of which i got from my brother... it was either that or spanky... lol
- i cook elaborate meals, just to hear my dad groan when he takes the first bite
- i would do anything for a friend, even tell them the truth
- i love with abandon... i don't know how to love half-way... maybe that's why i haven't shared my heart yet, i'm afraid to lose it...
- i have to try really hard not to be judgemental with the ones i love
- i haven't found anything sweeter, than the hellion from half an hour ago... curled up on my chest, fast asleep...
- i won't watch scary movies anymore, because i used to get nightmares so horrible
and vivid, that i couldn't sleep afterwards...
- i cherish the fact that every poem that i give my dad, holds a special place in his bible
- my favorite verse is Isaiah 40:8
the grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our Lord stand forever.
- i love reading lots of books, and getting lost in the story
- i get sick every year, because my mom smoked when she was pregnant with me, and i regret that she still feels bad about it
- i love laughing so hard that my stomach hurts, and hanging out with my friends (they are usually connected)... "it's my virgin alarm, it's set to go off before you do"
- my favorite show is 7th Heaven
- my favorite children's books are Mercer Mayor's Little Critter series... Like "My Grandpa and me
- i'm really good at remembering useless facts, but i can't remember what i went to the back to do, a few minutes ago...
- i can't wait to be a mother, but i plan to
- i like encouraging people that are hurting, because i hate to see them in pain
- i'm ashamed of most of my relatives, but mostly my grandfather
- i'm very proud of my parents for sticking with their marriage (27 years)
- i like variety, and lots of colors, because i hate to be similar
- some of my favorite songs are " What Sin" sung by Josie, " Cry Mercy" sung by Tamara, and " Thank you for giving to the Lord", they touch me every time i hear them
- i hate being helpless, and weak
- i love physical work, and the strength you get while doing it
- i'm left handed and clumsy
- i've only traveled outside of Canada twice. once to go to Disneyland in grade 8, and once to go to Costa Rica...
